Description
The Power of a Canister, The Convenience of a Hang-On: SunSun YBF-600
Get the crystal-clear water quality of a canister filter without the bulky hoses and cabinet space. The SunSun YBF-600 is a hybrid “Hang-On Canister” filter designed for planted tanks and aquascapes. It sits neatly on the rim of your aquarium but holds a large chamber of filter media, providing superior biological filtration compared to standard slim filters.
Benefits & Features]
-
Hybrid Filtration System: Combines the easy installation of a hang-on filter with the multi-stage filtration capacity of an external canister.
-
Integrated Surface Skimmer: Comes with a self-floating skimmer intake that actively removes oily bio-film and dust from the water surface, ensuring better gas exchange and light penetration.
-
Large Media Capacity: Unlike thin cartridges, the YBF-600 body can be filled with ceramic rings, bio-balls, or Seachem Matrix (sold separately) to handle high bio-loads.
-
Adjustable Flow Control: Features a flow regulation knob, allowing you to dial down the current for Bettas or shrimp, or turn it up for a community tank.
-
Silent Operation: The motor is submerged/insulated within the water flow design, ensuring whisper-quiet performance suitable for bedrooms.
