Description
Raising baby fish requires food small enough for them to eat and nutritious enough to help them grow. A Micro Worms Starter Culture is one of the most reliable and cost-effective solutions for aquarists. These microscopic nematodes are widely used by professional breeders for fry that are too small for brine shrimp but too big for vinegar eels (e.g., Betta, Guppy, Tetra, and Danio fry).
This Live Pack provides you with an active culture to jumpstart your own colony instantly.
Why Choose Micro Worms?
-
Perfect Size: ideally sized for newborn fry mouths.
-
Trigger Feeding: The wiggling motion of the worms triggers the natural hunting instinct in baby fish.
-
High Nutrition: Rich in protein and fat, essential for the critical early development stages of fry.
-
Sustainable: Once started, a single culture can be split and maintained indefinitely with minimal cost.

How to Harvest Micro worms have a unique behavior where they crawl up the sides of their container away from the culture medium.
-
Wait for the worms to climb the walls of the container.
-
Simply swipe/scrape them off with a clean finger, cotton swab, or paintbrush.
-
Dip the collected worms directly into your fry tank. (Rinsing is optional but recommended if you are strict about water quality).
Note: The culture has a mild, yeast-like odor. It is best kept in a ventilated area or a container with small air holes (covered with filter floss to prevent pests).
