Boost Your Aquarium Filtration The SunSun HW-603 is a multi-stage pre-filter canister designed to add extra filtration volume to your existing setup. By connecting this unit ahead of your main canister filter, you can trap coarse debris before it reaches your primary pump, significantly extending maintenance intervals and improving water clarity.

Extend Filter Life Acting as a mechanical debris trap, the HW-603 prevents your main filter from clogging prematurely. This means you have to clean your expensive primary filter less often, while the transparent body of the pre-filter lets you easily see when the sponges need rinsing.

Versatile Media Storage The unit comes with three multi-density sponges (Coarse, Medium, Fine) for excellent mechanical filtration. However, the spacious canister can also be filled with biological media like ceramic rings, bio-balls, or chemical media like activated carbon to supercharge your tank’s filtration capacity.
